We are pleased to announce that the IEEE Power & Energy Society has selected San Diego, California as the site for its 2012 General Meeting, scheduled for July 22-26, 2012. The General Meeting has been a mainstay within the electric energy industry for more than 40 years and continues to offer attendees a thorough knowledge-building experience.

As a manufacturer and/or service provider to the electric energy industry we are pleased to provide you with this letter of invitation. It details a number of special support opportunities that allow you and your company to support the industry, while at the same time raising the profile of your own company with the people who really matter-electric energy professionals at all levels who are your current and potential future customers.

This year's conference with its technical theme, New Energy Horizons - Opportunities and Challenges will provide attendees with an internationalforum to address policy, infrastructure and workforce issues. It will allow expertsfrom across the power and energy professions to discuss various issues anddevelopments in all fields related to transmission, distribution, generation andrenewable energy.

Highlighting the meeting program are these topics organized into a number of Super Sessions:

The meeting will attract upwards of 2,500 professionals from every segment of the electric energy industry. The meeting will feature a comprehensive technical program with paper presentations, poster and panel sessions, tutorials, committee meetings, an awards ceremony honoring high achievers in the field, technical tours, a number of networking opportunities, a student program and a full companion activity program. We encourage you, as a valued manufacturer, supplier, consultant, software or service provider to the electric energy industry, to take advantage of the many support opportunities available at the 2012 General Meeting. Attached to this letter is a list of various support levels and specific support opportunities along with a list of the specific recognition opportunities and the amenities each one provides. Please review them carefully and register for one or more of them by completing the attached Support Agreement.

Remember that the Platinum, Gold and Silver levels of support are open to multiple supporters. Respond early for the best chance at a specific support opportunity and/or for the longest run of your advertising on the conference web site. If there are other types of support opportunities that are of interest to you we are willing to discuss this with you.

  • Companion Bags: $1000-Corporate logo and/or name on bag. Distributed to all registered companions. Deadline for submitting your logo to Bullseye International Group is June 8, 2012. (One opportunity)
  • Welcome Kit Giveaways: $750 plus 2500 giveaways. Logo and/or name on pens, pads gadgets, post-its, stress-balls, desk ornaments, etc. One included in every delegate bag, Deadline to receive your giveaway is June 22, 2012. (Multiple opportunities.)
  • Badge Lanyards: $2500 plus 2500 lanyards. Includes your company name or logo on lanyard. Distributed to all attendees.   • Hotel Room Keycard: $3000-Your logo custom printed on each attendee room key card. Keycard printing and production charges to be billed to supporter. (One opportunity)
  • Reusable Water Bottles: $4000-Reusable bottle in each attendee and companion bag. Includes your company name and logo printed on the bottle sleeve. (One opportunity -includes bottle.)
  • Conference Note Pads: $4000-Your logo and message (7 word limit) printed on 2500 custom note pads. (Includes note pad.) Bullseye International Group will print your logo and message on the note pads and include a note pad in each attendee conference bag.
  • Breakfast Support Opportunities: $1500 each-Choose one or more of the following: Attendees Breakfast or Presenters Breakfast on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Signs at the entrance to the breakfast rooms on the day of your event acknowledge your company's support.
  • Bus Transportation for Technical Tours: $1000 each. See web site for specific tours. Signs at the bus and a flyer on each bus seat on the day of your event acknowledge your company's support. (Multiple opportunities)
  • Companion Activities: Support the Companion's Breakfast ($1000), Companion's Break ($750), or a Companion's Bus Transportation for a Social Tour ($750). (Multiple opportunities)
  • Student Industry Faculty Luncheon: Support the Student Industry Faculty Luncheon ($1000) per table. Enjoy the opportunity to participate with 2 luncheon tickets and your company name at the table.

  • Online Advertising
    Companies interested in online advertising can participate with their logo and hotlink on the General Meeting website. Logos are available in 3 month increments beginning in January 2010 through the end of August 2010--one month following the General Meeting.
    1. Three months: $2400
    2. Six months: $4200
    3. Nine months - $7000

  • Wireless Hot Spot at the Renaissance Center
    A wireless hot spot will be established in the General Meeting Registration area. Attendees will be able to connect to the internet using their laptop computers. Attendees will be able to check their email during the conference. Attendees will see your logo immediately on their computer screen. Your company logo will be hot linked to your web site. Your company will benefit with increased online traffic to your company’s web site.
    1. Support of hot spot for 1 day is $2,000
    2. Support of hot spot for 3 days is $5000.
    3. Support of hot spot for 5 days is $8,000.

  • Hospitality Suites
    Opportunities for Hospitality Suites are available at the Conference Hotel during the
    General Meeting. Hours of operation must not conflict with main conference activities. Please register your intentions to host a Hospitality Suite (no registration fee required), and then work directly with the Hotel to make your specific suite arrangements.
    1. For a $750 fee, the Conference can include your Hospitality Suite notice in the conference bag handed out to all registrants (up to 4 x 6 inch - 2500 copies required).

Printing and production of hospitality cards can be handled by Bullseye International Group Inc. Printing and production charges will be invoiced separately.
