NOTICE RELATED TO THE PRIORITIZATION OF APPLICATIONS DURING THE STUDENT SUPPORT GRANT SELECTION PROCESS IF AND AS REQUIRED:
In case the number of applicants exceeds the number of student support slots available, there will be prioritization based on the following:
a) Whether a student is submitting a poster in the student poster contest and/or is a Conference Author with an accepted technical paper;
b) Status, i.e., undergrad/grad --- undergraduates receive higher priority; Also students currently enrolled in university will receive higher priority.
c) Timeliness of application;
d) Merit of application;
e) Support/Recommendation provided by the student's advisor;
f) Previous participation in PEEC sponsored programs; and
g) Number of accepted applicants from any given university.
TIPS: Women, minorities and undergraduates are especially encouraged to apply.
Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Remember that incomplete applications include those which lack the response in the application form and information required from the student's advisor.
