What’s Included
- Full Conference Registration: Access to all sessions, Daily Breakfast, Welcome Reception, Poster Session/Reception, and conference proceedings.
- Two-Day Registration: Access to sessions for two consecutive days, Daily Breakfast, plus applicable receptions.
- One-Day Registration: Access to sessions for the registered day, Daily Breakfast, plus applicable receptions.
- Companion/Child Registration: Access to daily breakfast and social events only.
Not Included
Tutorials, Plain Talks, Technical Tours, Awards Gala, and SIF Luncheon (available as add-ons).
Policies
Author Registration: For a paper to be included in the proceedings, at least one of the authors must be registered for the conference. With one author registration, that author can present up to 2 papers, and any additional paper will require a $150.00 payment per paper.
Cancellation: Full refund minus $50 processing fee if requested by 19 June 2026. No refunds after this date.
Visa: If you do not receive your visa by 18 June 2026, consider canceling. No refunds for visa issues.
Substitution: Requests must be emailed to [email protected] by 19 June 2026.

Applying for a Visa (this can be optional for an event to include)
Begin the visa application process as early as possible if you need a temporary non-immigrant visa to attend the conference. Processing times and visa appointment availability vary by location. The U.S. Department of State recommends applying at least 3-4 months in advance of your travel date. Visit travel.state.gov for the most up-to-date information.
Travel Guidelines
- Verify travel documents: Ensure your visa, ESTA, or other required paperwork is valid and aligns with your travel purpose.
- Stay informed about entry requirements: Visit the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website or your local U.S. embassy.
- Utilize scientific travel resources: The National Academy of Sciences International Visitors Office (IVO) guides visa interview preparation and travel to the U.S.
- Organize essential documents: Have all required materials, including event confirmation, hotel booking, and return flight details, ready at the border.
- Arrival considerations: Due to enhanced security protocols, international travelers may experience longer processing times at ports of entry.
