Ross Sayre has over 20 years of professional experience with a focus in the electric utility industry supporting Investor Owned Utilities, Cooperatives, Municipalities and other Publicly Owned Utilities. He has spent his career functioning in various roles on Protection & Control, Substation and SCADA projects on the Transmission and Distribution systems in addition to supporting the integration of Grid-Scale Renewable Energy interconnections. In 2016, he co-founded SubGrid Solutions to bring customer focused, high quality engineering expertise to the power delivery industry.
Ross graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Illinois, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
