Uzma Siddiqi

Senior Manager of Grid Modernization,
Seattle City Light (SCL)

Uzma Siddiqi is the Senior Manager of Grid Modernization at Seattle City Light (SCL), one the nation’s largest municipal electric utilities. The City of Seattle has aggressive decarbonization and electric transportation goals. As the municipal utility, SCL is a key participant in reducing emissions via electrification of transportation, building, and industrial customers. Uzma has been with SCL for 21 years in a variety of engineering roles and has been leading technical and non-technical innovative ideas at SCL. She has a MSEE and BSEE from North Carolina State University and is a registered Professional Engineer and has a PMP certification.
